Activate your sovereign mail core

SkyeMail uses the 0S Gate identity first. This page only creates local sovereign keys and binds the staged SkyeMail claim to your Gate session.

How privacy works

1) You get a public address page.
2) Senders fetch your public key from the server.
3) Sender encrypts the message in their browser.
4) Citadel stores ciphertext inside the SkyeNet sovereign lane.
5) You decrypt locally after unlocking with your SkyeMail key passphrase.

Admin recovery key

If you enable recovery, your private key is additionally encrypted for admin recovery. If you do not enable recovery, admin has no way to read or recover message content.

Gate handoff

- The 0S Gate signs you in.
- Your SkyeMail key passphrase unlocks encrypted content locally.
- Your SkyeMail address is provisioned from the Gate claim.
